Say Goodbye to Glasses & Contact Lenses

Are you tired of wearing glasses and contact lenses? If so, laser eye surgery may be the solution you’ve been looking for.

Laser eye surgery is a surgery that reshapes the surface of the cornea, correcting common refractive errors that impair vision such as myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), and astigmatism.

The procedure typically painless and recovery time is quick, making it an increasingly popular option for eye refractive correction. For more information, please book an appointment with us today.

Our Consultation Process

During your consultation, we’ll conduct thorough tests to determine if you are a good candidate for laser eye surgery. We’ll consider the strength of your current prescription, your corneal thickness, your pupil size, the quality of your tear film, and more.

If you’re a viable candidate for refractive surgery, we’ll then review the procedure with you in more detail. We’ll also discuss your long-term vision goals and what you can expect after surgery and review the risks and potential complications associated with each type of surgery. We’ll also determine, based on your eye exam results, which procedure will be right for you.

Types of Laser Eye Surgery

LASIK is the currently most common type of laser eye surgery. During the procedure, the surgeon creates a small flap in the outer layer of the cornea, which is folded over to reveal the cornea’s inner layers. The surgeon then uses a laser to gently reshape these inner layers, correcting the patient’s vision before repositioning the outer flap.

Usually conducted on patients with thin corneas, PRK is similar to LASIK, but rather than creating a flap, the tissue in the outer layers are removed entirely. Since it takes a few days for these cells to regrow, recovery time is typically longer than for LASIK.

Pre and Post-Operative Care

If you decide that laser eye surgery is right for you, we’ll work with your eye surgeon of choice to ensure they have your full medical history record and coordinate your pre and post-operative care.

Within one week of your procedure, we’ll schedule an appointment with you to assess your eye health and vision. Despite the low rate of complications with refractive surgery, our post-operative assessment helps ensure that no issues are developing, and everything is healing as expected.

This was a pretty cool experience, I never really thought that I need glasses, but apparently I do need them. The process was pretty quick, you do some fun little exams at first with the staff then the doctor gives you the good old eye exam and if you pass you are good. And if not you will mostlikly need some sort of prescription. I got my prescription fairly smoothly, and right after I picked out my frames with the very supportive staff. They helped me the whole way, they gave me their honest opinions about the frames that looked better on me and some fun facts, plus they adjusted some of the pairs just to see how good they would be on me. Finally, for payment their instructions were pretty clear if there were any problems with insurance or anything like that. Overall, it took about 2 hours for me and my brother, that’s because I was picky with my frames (can’t help it, first time you know). Thanks a lot for the support Infinite Eyecare and I can’t wait for my glasses to arrive😁😁!!!
